Glinks International, a leading provider of international education services to students in the Middle East and India, held a series of in-person and virtual education fairs in Dubai for students. More than 25 of Canada’s top international colleges took part in the event. The series of events gave an opportunity for students and parents to meet with representatives from renowned universities and seek advice on the best options to pursue in higher education.
The event was divided into two sections, with students registering for both in-person and virtual events. More than 1200 students participated in the virtual and in-person event, which was held at various times and adhered to Covid guidelines. Each day of the virtual event, up to 200 students had registered for the virtual fair.
Representatives from the following universities have participated in the virtual event-University of New Brunswick, University of Guelph, Acadia University, Brock University, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Alberta, Trent University, Huron University, University of Waterloo, William Academy, Columbia College, University of Northern BC, University of Manitoba, North Island College, University of Saskatchewan, Memorial University, MacEwan University, St. Margaret’s School, Douglas College, Golden Hills School Division, University of Windsor, Thompson Rivers University, University of Prince Edward Island, Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology. The officials talked with students in their unique Breakout rooms at each college.
