LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 is a hands-on, elementary scientific solution that uses a robot-based learning system to teach science skills in the classroom. The one-of-a-kind solution combines the LEGO® brick, classroom-friendly software, and engaging and standards-based projects to pique students’ curiosity about the world around them.
Students will build, program, and change projects with WeDo 2.0 to investigate, develop, and share their scientific discoveries. The curricular demands of each market will determine which grades projects are most suited, therefore the target age range will differ from nation to country. WeDo 2.0 is aimed towards kids in grades 7 and up. The curriculum pack’s tasks are based on the most up-to-date standards for grades 2-4. Though the curriculum was not created specifically for 5th grade, the guided project ideas for differentiation and the option to alter the difficulty level of the open projects imply that many 5th-grade science standards are addressed.
